As a tribute to the precursor investigative work done in 1995 by Theodore Celenko and his team of The Indianapolis Museum of Art, here is the CT scan done 17 years later on a similar power figure (Nkisi) as the one shown on the catalogue cover.

 

This one comes from the ex-Bareiss Family Collection and is published in Kilengi - African Art from the Bareiss Family Collection by Christopher D. Roy, The University of Iowa, 1997.
